Worms in kittens are common, but thankfully are easily controllable with routine worming treatments.

Without treatment, kittens can experience loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhoea and in severe cases, even death.

Kittens should be wormed every two weeks until twelve weeks of age, then monthly until six months of age. After six months, all kittens should be wormed every three months for ongoing protection.
